Rhea Ripley has spoken out following Liv Morgan’s legit shoulder injury on the June 16 episode of WWE RAW—and this time, it wasn’t in character.
After the show went off the air at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Ripley took to social media to call out fans who reacted inappropriately to the news. Without directly naming Morgan, Ripley made it clear that celebrating another wrestler’s injury is unacceptable, regardless of rivalries or storylines.
“PSA. Don’t celebrate an injury. Disgusting behavior. Don’t be like them,” she wrote.
Her message came shortly after Morgan was pulled from her match against Kairi Sane due to what WWE later confirmed as a dislocated shoulder. Ripley and Morgan have been locked in a long-running feud, but the former Women’s World Champion put that aside to make a rare out-of-character statement—underscoring the real-world impact of in-ring injuries.
The match barely got started before Morgan appeared to land awkwardly after a bump to the outside. Referee Jessika Carr immediately stepped in to check on her, and WWE went to commercial as medical staff evaluated Morgan ringside. When the show returned, Sane was declared the winner as Morgan was unable to continue.
The timing of the injury is especially significant given Morgan’s rising momentum and rumors of a developing storyline with Nikki Bella tied to WWE Evolution. WWE later confirmed the shoulder dislocation, but a timeline for her return is still uncertain.
Ripley’s reaction signals the respect shared behind the scenes, even between on-screen enemies. Her decision to speak out not only showed support for Morgan but also served as a direct message to fans crossing the line between fiction and reality.
