Corey Graves is back on WWE RAW commentary — and this time, it looks like he’s reclaimed his main roster seat after a few months of being shifted out of the spotlight.
Earlier this year, WWE unexpectedly pulled Graves from its main roster commentary teams and reassigned him to NXT. The move placed him alongside Vic Joseph and Booker T, forming a three-man booth. But the change didn’t sit well with Graves. He voiced his frustration on social media and even missed a week of NXT broadcasts due to the fallout.
Despite the rocky start, Graves settled into the NXT role and became a consistent presence on Tuesday nights. But it wasn’t long before he got another shot to show what he could do.
On June 7, Graves was back in a marquee spot, serving as lead announcer for the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event, where he was joined by Konnan. His performance was met with strong reviews across the board. As reported, “Graves received high marks for his work in that position from both fans and people within WWE.”
Now, in the latest twist, Graves returned to the RAW commentary desk for the June 16 episode, joining longtime partner Michael Cole. He filled in for Pat McAfee, signaling a potential shift back to the main roster full-time — or at least that WWE still sees serious value in his voice.
This return could mean a lot more mic time on Monday nights for Graves, and it puts him right back where many fans originally got used to hearing him — ringside, calling the action at WWE’s biggest shows.
