Nikki Bella isn’t here for the online hate—and she’s not staying silent about where she thinks it’s coming from.
During the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella took aim at her critics and stood tall for the legacy she’s built in WWE.
After her June 2025 return to RAW, Nikki addressed the long-running debate over her place in wrestling history. She made it clear that her legacy isn’t just about titles or moves in the ring—it’s about breaking barriers for women in the industry.
“Impact means so many different things, right? And breaking barriers—it’s not just about a move set in the ring. It’s about using your voice. It’s about fighting for what’s right. It’s about breaking barriers.”
She then turned her focus to the backlash she’s often faced online and didn’t mince words when pointing out the source.
“It’s hard, I think, for a certain crowd on the internet to understand that. They hear, ‘Oh, you paved the way?’ and they make comments. And let’s just be honest—it’s mostly ignorant men. I don’t even give a f*.”*
Nikki continued, arguing that most of these critics have no clue what women in wrestling have had to fight for.
“They think wins and championships are everything. They don’t think of the overall picture. And the majority of the time it’s because they’re not a woman. They’ve never had to fight for what we’ve had to fight for.”
“Not only are they not women—they’re not WWE Superstars. So they don’t understand it.”
For Nikki, her mission has always been bigger than ring gear and title belts.
“Paving the road was never just about what happened in the ring—it was about fighting so we could do more in the ring.”
With her words, Nikki reminded fans that history isn’t just made with suplexes and pinfalls—it’s also shaped by voices that push the business forward.
