Private Party lost the AEW Tag Team Titles to The Hurt Syndicate back in January and have been absent since then. While there’s no indication of them returning, it appears their contracts with AEW are set to expire soon.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Private Party’s AEW contracts will be expiring very soon, as he said, “Private Party’s AEW deals are up very soon.”

Private Party won the AEW Tag Team Titles after beating The Young Bucks on the October 30 episode of AEW Dynamite and there was a lot of hope for their reign. That didn’t happen after they dropped the titles and AEW was criticized for dropping the ball on Private Party.

As reported earlier, Private Party had been absent from AEW television simply because they were enjoying well-earned downtime. It was added that they were not injured and even competed in an indie match back in March.

Private Party used to be an important part of AEW’s tag team division, but they haven’t been used regularly, and fans are disappointed. Now that their contracts are almost up, fans are waiting to see if AEW will give them another chance or let them leave.
