The June 13 episode of WWE SmackDown was quite a show at the legendary Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. Fans in the Bluegrass State are unique, and they also love pro wrestling. Naturally, the company brought a packed three-hour show.

During this week’s show, Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Candice LeRae was supposed to go down in another women’s match in the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament. Before the match, it was revealed that Green wasn’t there, so Alba Fyre was put in her place.

This match was included in the show’s third hour, and it spanned through a commercial break. Everyone had their opportunity to steal the spotlight in this match, including Charlotte Flair, who walked into the match declaring herself a Queen.

Flair hit a Natural Selection and a Figure 8 on Alexa Bliss, but Candice LeRae broke it up with a springboard Lionsault. Then Alba Fyre took Flair down for a near fall. This match continued with a few near falls, and then Flair nailed a spear on Candice for another two count. Finally, Bliss nailed a Sister Abigail on Candice as Flair had Fyre locked in a Figure 8.

During the June 9 episode of WWE RAW, Roxanne Perez advanced in the tournament. She beat Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Kairi Sane to move forward. Earlier in the night, Jade Cargill also won a match to advance.

Now, Alexa Bliss is moving forward in the tournament. This could be a very interesting couple of weeks in WWE.
