Natalya and Maxxine Dupri have been working together for quite some time now and it appears WWE is finally going all in on their tag team. This includes the fact that they have already thought of a name for their team.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is working on creating a new women’s tag team for TV, pairing Natalya and Maxxine Dupri. The planned team name is “Dungeon Dolls,” and WWE is currently working on getting it legally cleared for use and merchandise.
“WWE is in the planning stages of launching a new women’s tag team on television. The tag team will be Natalya and Maxxine Dupri with the proposed name of ‘The Dungeon Dolls’. WWE is in the process of getting the name cleared for both legal presentation and merchandising.”
The name “Dungeon Dolls” is a nod to Natalya’s wrestling background. As a third-generation wrestler from the famous Hart family, Natalya was the first woman to officially train in her grandfather Stu Hart’s legendary Hart Dungeon, so it’s a big deal for her.
This comes after Maxxine Dupri stated back in March that she wanted to train in the Hart Family Dungeon and clearly that’s become the basis of their tag team name now. Naturally, fans are excited to see how they will perform as a proper tag team.
With “Dungeon Dolls” possibly becoming an official tag team in WWE, Natalya and Maxxine Dupri could quickly become strong contenders in the women’s tag division. Therefore, it remains to be seen how WWE will present them in the coming weeks.
