AJ Styles has a lot of love for gaming but he isn’t necessarily the most aware person on social media. In fact, it appears that the Phenomenal One fell for a parody account that claimed Styles doesn’t use Bluetooth headphones because he thinks they mess with his brain.

A parody account called Pro Wrestling Centel made a claim that AJ Styles avoids using Bluetooth headphones because he believes they interfere with his brain’s frequency. According to the account, Styles only uses wired headphones for that reason.

“AJ Styles says he “doesn’t use bluetooth headphones” because it messes with his brain’s frequency. He doesn’t trust them. He only uses wired headphones. 🎧”

AJ Styles responded to the claim and explained that the headphones in the photo were actually Bluetooth, and the wire was just connected to his Xbox controller. He also said he didn’t remember ever saying what the account claimed.

“Yeah, the thing is….those are Bluetooth headphones. The wire is plugged into my Xbox controller. I don’t recall ever saying this.”

After realizing the joke, the Phenomenal One laughed it off and decided to leave the tweet up, admitting that he’s probably too old to care anymore, saying, “Ha, I get it now. I’ll leave it up there though. I think I’m getting too old to give a 💩”

The fact that AJ Styles admitted he fell for the parody account and just took it in stride shows he is truly not someone who takes everything seriously. Regardless, we’ll have to see how he will be booked on WWE television in the coming weeks as it’s clear WWE wants to feature him as much as possible.
