Abadon is no longer with AEW—and now, she’s officially calling the shots.
On June 11, the fan-favorite horror wrestler took to Twitter with a simple but powerful update confirming her post-AEW status. With just a few words, she made it known that her next chapter has already begun: “Officially a free agent! Let’s fill some dates!”
The post comes less than two weeks after Abadon emotionally confirmed that her AEW contract would not be renewed. That announcement followed online speculation about her status and conflicting reports about whether she and Nick Comoroto would quietly exit the company. At the time, she pushed back against those rumors, warning fans not to believe anything unless it came directly from her.
When she did speak up, it wasn’t just a confirmation—it was a deeply personal message reflecting on her AEW journey. In her own words: “The emotions I’m currently trying to manage are incredibly difficult and full of conflict as I reflect on my time there.”
Despite being heartbroken over her exit, she showed no signs of slowing down. “My goal is to not let this be it for me, because I love wrestling too much to just stop. I’ve put in a lot of hard work that I will now be able to showcase more often.”
And even as her AEW chapter closed, she made one thing perfectly clear: “While my heart is currently broken you can bet that I’m still going to show up for training next week.”
Abadon is now accepting bookings via bookabadonhere@gmail.com, making it clear she’s back on the grind and ready to haunt new promotions.
The “Living Dead Girl” first made her AEW debut in 2020 with a memorable Dynamite win over Anna Jay. Her horror-themed character and entrance set her apart instantly, and she became a standout presence across AEW Dark, Dynamite, and Ring of Honor—even if creative directions kept her off TV in the later years.
Abadon’s most recent match came in February 2025 on Ring of Honor TV, but now that she’s a free agent, fans may not have to wait long to see her back in the ring.
