Mariah May’s arrival in WWE has already turned heads—but now fans may have a new name to learn.

According to Fightful Select, WWE has internally listed the former AEW star under the name “Blake Monroe.” The report surfaced before the June 10 episode of NXT aired on The CW, following a cryptic tweet from May that had fans bracing for another major moment.

While WWE hasn’t officially confirmed the name change, it’s common for the company to rebrand incoming talent, especially those from outside promotions. Assuming it’s not a misdirect, “Blake Monroe” could be the next big name to hit the NXT women’s division.

Just one week ago, Mariah made her surprise debut during the June 3 episode of NXT, interrupting a brawl between the entire women’s roster by appearing on the balcony in a sparkling outfit. Her message was loud and clear: “The best women’s division in the world just got a lot more glamorous,” she said, before adding, “I’m the next NXT Women’s Champion.”

The timing of the name reveal adds to the intrigue, especially after May’s tweet earlier today: “you’ll wanna tune in to #wwenxt tonight 🫧 8ET/7CT on @thecw”

Whether she appears tonight or not, it looks like Mariah May’s WWE run may officially begin under a new identity—one WWE is reportedly calling Blake Monroe.
