Alberto Del Río has done it again—and this time, the violence was caught from every angle.
At a recent press event promoting Triplemanía Regia, the former WWE Superstar completely snapped, launching a full-blown assault on both AAA Mega Champion Hijo del Vikingo and Mexican celebrity Latin Lover. The footage, now spreading fast across social media, shows the chaos unfold in front of stunned reporters who filmed it all on their phones.
Things escalated after a tense exchange between Del Río and Vikingo turned physical. The two brawled across the room, knocking over furniture as security scrambled to intervene. But the real shock came when Latin Lover tried to step in.
Del Río took Latin Lover to the ground, then grabbed a trash can, slammed it down over Lover’s arm, and smashed it repeatedly with a steel chair. Reporters screamed in the background as Del Río walked off, leaving the scene in total wreckage.
The press event, which was supposed to hype the June 15 rematch between Del Río and Vikingo at Triplemanía Regia, spiraled out of control. While AAA has yet to comment officially, many are wondering whether this latest outburst is part of the story—or something far more personal.
This isn’t Del Río’s first meltdown. Last month he made headlines for physically attacking a staff member during a live interview on Venga la Alegría, while also verbally trashing Vikingo and his father. But this press event beatdown takes things to an entirely new level.
Whether it’s planned or not, the message from Del Río was clear—he’s not coming to Monterrey to wrestle. He’s coming to destroy.
