R-Truth’s return to WWE under his real name, Ron Killings, is now official—but the drama behind his recent exit hasn’t cooled off.

On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash slammed Jonathan Coachman for spreading an unconfirmed rumor about the situation.

Coachman, via The Coach & Bro Show, claimed a source told him that WWE offered R-Truth a significantly reduced contract. He said Truth declined the deal and chose to walk rather than take a pay cut. Sean Oliver read Coachman’s quote on-air:

“This is a quote from Jonathan Coachman. I should put this out there because I had someone reach out to me. Reportedly, they did offer Truth a contract that was far less money than he was making, and he decided to turn that down.”

Coachman said, ‘That’s what somebody told me that’s in the know. Whether it’s true or not, I’m not sure.’”

Nash didn’t hold back. He questioned why Coachman would even put the claim out if he couldn’t stand by it:

“So why would you even put that on anything if what somebody told me I don’t know if it’s true or not?”

Oliver responded, ““Unless he knows it to be true and he has to say he doesn’t know to be true so as not to.” Nash followed up by calling it a weak attempt to look like an insider without facing the blowback:

But at the same time, though, it’s like all that is is like somebody trying—like I kinda want to be that guy but I don’t want the heat that comes with being that guy. So I’ll just throw this out as… you know.”

It’s worth noting the episode appears to have been recorded before R-Truth shocked fans with his return at Money in the Bank. It’s already been confirmed the new WWE contract isn’t a typical active deal, but one designed to give Killings “one true final run.”

Whether Coachman had real insight or was simply trying to stay in the loop, Nash made it clear—don’t speak unless you can stand on it.
