The “We Want Truth” movement didn’t wait for the bell to ring. Fans made their voices heard loud and clear during the Money in the Bank Kickoff show on June 7, 2025, taking over the live broadcast with a thunderous mix of “We Want Truth” and “What’s Up” chants.

As Big E, Wade Barrett, Pat McAfee, and Michael Cole sat at the desk outside the Intuit Dome, the Los Angeles crowd erupted behind them, demanding R-Truth’s return. It was yet another coordinated moment in a week-long string of fan-led protests that have already spilled across RAW, NXT, SmackDown, TNA Against All Odds, and WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.

Commentary didn’t address the chants directly, but they were impossible to ignore—cutting through the panel discussion and once again proving that the R-Truth movement isn’t slowing down.

Just one night earlier on SmackDown, the chants were loud enough to provoke a rare on-air reaction from John Cena during a major segment. Cena didn’t hold back:

“You can’t handle the truth!”
“You chant for truth, but you’re all pathetic liars.”
“That’s why you’re losers. I’ll never be back in Bakersfield.”

Meanwhile, TNA’s Against All Odds featured the same chants during a title match, while Worlds Collide saw the audience chanting for Truth mid-match during Ethan Page’s North American Title defense.

From WWE to TNA, the energy is spreading fast—and WWE’s Money in the Bank kickoff just got caught in the storm.

Do you think WWE will eventually give in to the R-Truth movement—or is this crowd chant takeover just getting started? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
