Backstage, Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed are seen walking out from gorilla position to the ring. As they all step into the ring, the crowd starts chanting “CM Punk.” He says tomorrow night, he takes everything. When he wins the Money in the Bank contract, he’ll have absolute power and total control over the entire industry.

The crowd chants for Roman Reigns. Seth says Roman can’t hear them—he’s on the Island of Irrelevancy, where they put him after WrestleMania. That power and control will reach SmackDown too.

He says they came to send a message. Anyone who stands in their way ends up like the rest. Sami Zayn is in the dirt. CM Punk is gone. Roman Reigns is missing. “Roman’s not coming to save you,” Seth says. “He never cared about you. But I have.”

Solo Sikoa’s music hits, and he comes out with Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo. The trio enters the ring and stands face-to-face with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.

Solo reminds Seth of his earlier words — that anyone who gets in their way will be laid out and no one can stop them. Seth agrees. Solo then points at Bron and asks if he’s supposed to be the new Right Hand Man, like Jey Uso. He turns to Reed and asks if he’s trying to be the new Honorary Uce, like Sami Zayn. After everything they went through at WarGames, Solo questions Reed’s loyalty. Then he looks at Heyman and says, “Long time no see, Wise Man.”

Seth tells Solo to choose his next words carefully. Solo says let’s cut to the chase — tomorrow night, he’s climbing the ladder and grabbing the contract. All the power and control Seth talked about? It’ll belong to him.

Seth says this is Solo’s turf, and it’s clear he feels threatened. He calls Bron the future of the industry — not Solo. He says Reed could crush Solo like a bug. But what Solo should really worry about is his own family turning on him. Seth looks at Jacob Fatu and tells him to speak up, encouraging him to take the mic from Solo. Solo shuts that down quickly, calling Fatu the “Samoan Werewolf” — but maybe he’ll become Solo’s bitch.

Rollins laughs and says it took guts to walk out and confront him like this. He admits he’s a little threatened by a Fatu — but it’s not Solo. He looks right at Jacob Fatu.

Solo removes his jacket, but Bron steps in. Fatu moves in as well, standing face to face with Bron. Seth steps between them, getting nose-to-nose with Fatu. Solo grabs Bron and tells him to back off. Everyone begins to leave the ring, but Fatu and Bron stay face to face. After a long stare-down, Bron finally backs away. Seth’s music hits.

As Seth, Bron, and Reed exit the ring, Jimmy Uso appears from behind and attacks The Bloodline, laying into them before the segment ends.

JC Mateo vs. Jimmy Uso

Back from commercial and the match is already in progress. Jimmy Uso lands a series of right hands in the corner, followed by a kick to the side of JC Mateo’s head. He heads to the top rope and connects with a crossbody. He goes for the cover, but JC kicks out.

Jimmy locks in a chin lock, but JC fights out and sends Jimmy to the ropes, landing a suplex. JC applies a chin lock of his own, then whips Jimmy into the ropes and hits a stiff right hand. He follows with a chop to the chest and goes for a clothesline, but Jimmy ducks and sends JC over the top rope to the floor.

Jimmy follows with a suicide dive, taking JC down hard. He throws JC back into the ring and climbs the top rope, but Solo Sikoa causes a distraction. JC capitalizes with a dropkick, sending Jimmy crashing to the outside.

Jimmy follows with a series of right hands and an uppercut, then a hard chop to the chest. He climbs to the top rope and lands Whisper in the Wind. He goes for the cover, but JC kicks out.

Jimmy charges again, but JC catches him, spins, and slams him to the mat. JC covers, but Jimmy kicks out. JC heads to the top for a splash, but Jimmy counters with a superkick. Jimmy bounces off the ropes and hits a spear.

Jimmy climbs the top rope, but Solo Sikoa gets on the apron, distracting the referee. Jacob Fatu gets on the opposite side. Jimmy climbs down and goes face-to-face with Fatu. JC charges for a splash from behind, but Jimmy moves and JC knocks Fatu off the apron. Jimmy quickly rolls JC up for the pin.

Winner: Jimmy Uso

After the match, JC and Fatu argue. Fatu walks to the back, and JC tells Solo that Fatu is the problem, not him.

Backstage, Zelina Vega is seen walking when she runs into Giulia. Zelina tells her she’s worked her ass off to earn the Women’s United States Championship, and if Giulia wants it, she’ll have to take it from her dead body. Giulia smirks and says she likes her. Zelina walks away.

Back in the arena, Chelsea Green’s music hits. Out comes Piper Niven, accompanied by the Secret Hervice.

Jacob Fatu is seen walking backstage when Damian Priest approaches him. Priest says it’s tough working with family and admits he doesn’t envy him. He then tells Fatu that at some point, he’s coming for the United States Championship. Fatu doesn’t flinch. He tells Priest, “Line it up. But if you don’t finish your business with me… it’s to the back of the line.”

Bakersfield Brawl Non Title Match: Zelina Vega vs. Piper Niven

They lock up and Piper Niven immediately sends Zelina Vega to the mat. They lock up again, and Piper once again overpowers Vega, tossing her down.

Vega slips out of the ring and grabs a kendo stick from underneath. As Piper steps onto the apron, Vega strikes her with the kendo stick, landing several more shots. Piper blocks one and delivers a headbutt that drops Vega. Piper goes for the Piper Driver, but Vega escapes and lands another kendo stick shot, followed by a Codebreaker for a near fall.

Vega delivers a kick through the ropes, then hits a double stomp to Piper’s back off the apron. She climbs back up and goes for a headscissors takedown, but Piper blocks it, catches her on her shoulders, and hot shots her onto the apron. Piper follows with a crushing crossbody against the apron.

Piper then pulls out a steel chain and teases a table, but when the crowd cheers, she smirks and puts it back. Instead, she grabs some steel chairs. Vega fights back with forearms, but Piper tosses her hard into the ringside barricade.

Piper sends Vega back into the ring and wedges a chair in the corner. She whips Vega into it, then grabs another chair and sets it up in the opposite corner. Piper places Vega in the chair and goes for a cannonball, but Vega moves and Piper crashes into the chair. Vega hits a seated splash off the turnbuckles for a near fall, followed by a flying boot. Piper responds with a slam for a two count.

Piper grabs the chain and tries to choke Vega, even putting it in Vega’s mouth. She curb stomps Vega into the bottom turnbuckle. Piper takes off her jacket, removes the chair from the corner, and sets up for a Piper Driver onto it, but Vega counters into a DDT on the chair. Piper rolls to the floor.

Vega hits a moonsault onto Piper, Chelsea Green, and Alba Fyre at ringside. She throws punches at Alba, then climbs to the top rope, but Piper cuts her off with a slap. Piper sets up for a superplex, but Vega fights back and hits a Super Code Red. Alba tries to interfere, and Green punches Vega.

Piper tells Alba to get a table. Alba slides it into the ring while Piper hits a Piper Driver on the floor. Piper sets Vega up on the table, but Giulia attacks Green. Vega goes for a powerbomb, Piper blocks it, but Giulia hits Piper with the kendo stick. Vega then powerbombs Piper through the table and gets the three count.

Winner: Zelina Vega

After the match, Giulia raises Vega’s hand, then suddenly headbutts her and drops her with a Northern Lights Bomb.

Backstage, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are in the locker room when Jimmy walks in. Jimmy asks how Jey is doing and checks in. Jey says, “Champs answer the call,” and tells Jimmy they only need to worry about what John Cena and Logan Paul have to say tonight.

Elsewhere, Aleister Black cuts a promo. He says someone beloved in WWE using the Black Mass was disrespectful — it was stolen. He challenges them to a one-on-one match with no Nakamura and no relaxed rules. Just the two of them. If they win, he’ll shake their hand and admit defeat.

LA Knight grabs a mic before his match and says it’s that time of year—Money in the Bank season. He points out this is his third year in a row entering the match. He asks if third time’s the charm but says he’s not satisfied or happy about it.

He runs down the field. Penta will do everything under the sun to grab that case. Andrade is another one who will do anything to win. He says everyone will do what they need to do, but they’ll all take it to another level.

Then he shifts to the “goon” side of things. He calls Chad Gable “El Grande Americano.” Then comes Solo, who he says he’s dropped on his head before and can do it again. Finally, there’s Seth Rollins. Knight says he hasn’t had much interaction with him, but points out that Seth has done it all—he’s had the case and won it. Knight says Seth wants to burn it down, but there’s nothing hotter than an L.A. night with LA Knight.

He moves on to Aleister Black, his opponent tonight. Knight says Black had his shot. Money in the Bank is a big deal—it can make or break careers. He understands Black is mad he stole the win, but that’s what happens in a triple threat. Knight warns him that tonight, he’s just setting himself up to have his feelings hurt and will be watching from the couch tomorrow night.

Aleister Black vs LA Knight

They lock up and Aleister Black grabs a waist lock, but LA Knight counters with a side headlock. Knight follows with a headlock takedown, but Black quickly counters with a headscissors. Knight escapes and goes back to the side headlock. He hits a shoulder tackle. They lock up again, this time Black takes control with a side headlock and takedown. Knight counters with a headscissors, and Black escapes. Black then hits a shoulder tackle of his own.

Black suddenly goes for Black Mass, but Knight dodges it. They lock up again and circle the ring. Knight gives a clean break in the corner, but Black shoves him and takes him down with another side headlock. Knight answers with a back elbow.

LA Knight hits a back elbow and a kick to the back, followed by a suplex for a near fall. He sends Aleister Black into the turnbuckles and drives in with shoulder thrusts.

Knight whips Black into the corner, but Black counters with a series of kicks. Knight recovers with a clothesline and covers for a near fall. He lands a few punches, but Black fires back with a jumping knee in the corner for a near fall. Black follows with a kick on the ropes, a boot in the corner, a forearm, and a suplex for another two count.

Knight fights back with punches, but Black lands a series of strikes, a leg sweep, and a sliding knee. Black goes for a springboard move, but Knight knocks him to the floor and follows. Back in the ring, Knight hits a slingshot shoulder tackle for a near fall, then adds a kick and a knee to the back.

Black climbs to the top, but Knight crotches him. Knight lands punches and forearms, setting up for a superplex, but Black fights him off. They trade punches on the ropes. Knight hits a headbutt, Black counters with a sunset flip off the turnbuckles, then follows with a kick and a quebrada for a near fall.

Black misses Black Mass, and Knight misses BFT. Knight hits a neckbreaker and powerslam, then goes for the double jump elbow drop, but Black gets his boot up. Knight lifts Black for a Burning Hammer, but Black lands on his feet. Knight rolls him up for a near fall. They trade punches and kicks, and Black lands a boot to the head. Knight responds by hitting a Burning Hammer, but Black rolls to the outside.

Suddenly, Seth Rollins appears and hits Knight with a Black Out. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: LA Knight (by disqualification)

After the match, Black stops Rollins, causing Seth to back off. Bron Breakker enters the ring, forcing Rollins to retreat to the apron. Bron then hits Knight with a spear. Black gets knocked to the outside.

Bronson Reed finishes off Knight with a back senton, and Bron delivers another spear to Knight to end the segment.

Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis announce the start of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. They explain that each will begin with four fatal four-way matches, leading to semifinals and then the finals at King and Queen of the Ring. Nick confirms that the winners will earn title matches at SummerSlam against their brand’s champion.

Backstage, Byron Saxton is with Jade Cargill. He asks how she feels about entering the Queen of the Ring tournament. Jade says it feels great, and she’s going to keep climbing because she is the storm. She promises to tear through the tournament and says when the dust settles, she’ll be heading to SummerSlam.

Byron brings up Jade’s relationship with Bianca Belair. Before she can answer, Charlotte Flair walks up. She tells Jade, “Salt and sugar look the same. Have friends, or don’t have any at all.” Charlotte reminds her there’s only one Queen in WWE. Tiffany Stratton then walks up, casually wishes them both luck, and walks off.

We return to see Santos Escobar backstage with Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo. Humberto asks why they brought him there. Santos says they have a plan for Worlds Collide. It’s simple—they’re going to prove and establish, in front of the people of Mexico, who truly runs Lucha Libre. Santos says they’ll remove the heart and soul of that house, and they have the tools to do it. They will establish that they own Lucha Libre.

Backstage, Byron Saxton is with Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers. Byron asks Chad about his upcoming match against Vikingo. Chad says confidence is high. He’s disappointed he didn’t qualify for Money in the Bank, but El Grande Americano will still win. He says tomorrow, he’ll capture the most prestigious title in Lucha Libre. Andrade walks in and asks Chad if he really thinks he’s going to beat Vikingo. Penta shows up and speaks with Andrade in Spanish, which irritates Gable. Chad warns them it won’t be so funny when Americano puts them through a ladder. Nick Aldis walks in and says they can settle things in the ring tonight.

Back in the arena, Tiffany Stratton makes her way to the ring. iffany Stratton says she didn’t just become the youngest Ms. Money in the Bank winner—she became the It Girl. She says everyone in the match will try to copy her. No matter who wins on Saturday, their world will revolve around her. She says you can trend for one night, but you can’t outdo the doer. Then she asks, “What time is it?”

Rhea Ripley interrupts and makes her way to the ring. She tells Tiffany that she’s never been in a Money in the Bank match—because she never needed to be. She says she doesn’t know what it feels like to win the contract, but she knows what it feels like to be champion, and she misses that feeling. Stephanie Vaquer’s music hits, and she walks out to the ring.

Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Naomi, Giulia & Roxanne Perez

Naomi tags in and kicks Stephanie Vaquer, going for her own version of the Devil’s Kiss, but Vaquer rolls through. All six women enter the ring as Vaquer sets up the real Devil’s Kiss, landing it on Naomi. Everyone returns to their corners, and Vaquer catches Naomi on the outside before bringing her back into the ring.

Naomi sends Vaquer into the ropes and the turnbuckles, then follows with a kick. As Naomi argues with the referee, Perez and Giulia attack Vaquer from behind. Perez tags in and chokes Vaquer, then hits kicks in the corner. She gets a near fall, then follows with an uppercut before tagging in Giulia, who hits a suplex for a two count.

Naomi tags back in and applies a front face lock. She delivers forearms and a knee, then knocks Rhea Ripley off the apron. Vaquer counters a belly-to-back suplex, landing on her feet, and tags in Alexa Bliss.

Winners: Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss

Backstage, Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo are talking. Solo tells JC that as long as he has JC and Jacob, everything will be fine. JC asks if they can trust Jacob. Solo says as long as Jacob does what he says, it’s fine. He claims Fatu loves him, but also calls Jacob not that smart, saying all he does is think about himself—all gas and no brains. Solo insists he has it under control. As they walk away, Jacob Fatu steps into the area, likely hearing everything Solo just said.

We’re back with a video from the Wyatts.

Bo says grief isn’t linear—it’s a festering wound, constantly reopened by the absence of someone who’s gone. He says you never forget, only learn to accept what can’t be changed. Bo says he’s been watching the tag team division—the loyalty, trust, and brotherhood. But he questions if those bonds are truly unbreakable.

From loss, he says, they became a family—a ship unshaken by the storm. Yet again, people try to forget them, to erase their sacrifice. But they haven’t returned for nostalgia or closure. They’ve returned to rip open apathy and take what belongs to them. The time for repentance has passed. “Accept your fate. We will not be forgotten.”

We cut to the Tag Team Suite. Johnny Gargano says he doesn’t like what he just saw. Ciampa asks who provoked the Wyatts. Montez Ford says they know they’re feared, but there’s a bigger problem now—the Wyatts. Dawkins says they didn’t get this far by being scared.

Nathan Frazer says they know the Wyatts cost them their title shot. Axiom adds that they’re undefeated on SmackDown, and it’s time someone taught the Wyatts a lesson. Ciampa and Gargano like the idea. Alex Shelley says they want to move past their issues with DIY but agree it’s time to deal with the Wyatts. Chris Sabin says they’ll take the fight to them. Gargano and Ciampa turn to Nick Aldis and say any of these teams would be great to face the Wyatts.

Penta and Andrade vs. Julius Creed and Brutus Creed

Penta and Andrade hit flip dives as the Creed Brothers make their way to the ring. Penta throws Julius into the ring post and barricade, while Andrade sends Brutus into the ring.

The match starts with Andrade hitting a drop toe hold and a flying forearm on Brutus. He follows with a chop and running double knees to both Julius and Brutus. Penta tags in and hits hesitation kicks to both Creeds. Julius tries to fight back but gets hit with forearms. Brutus tags in and attacks Penta with punches.

Julius tags in, and Penta chops both Creeds. Andrade kicks Julius from the apron. Julius responds with a flying knee to Andrade, then hits a gutwrench suplex and an overhead belly-to-belly. Brutus tags in and lands a moonsault for a near fall, followed by a chin lock in the ropes and some choking. Julius tags back in and both hit knees to Andrade’s ribs. Julius knocks Penta off the apron. Andrade fights back with a jawbreaker and chops, but Julius chokes him in the ropes and runs him into the turnbuckles. Brutus tags in with a running shoulder. Julius follows with a sliding clothesline for a two count.

Julius applies a chin lock. Brutus tags in and pounds Andrade with forearms, then takes him down and hits more punches before locking in another chin lock. Andrade counters a suplex into a pin attempt. Julius tags in and cuts Andrade off before he can tag. Andrade hits an enzuigiri, and Penta finally tags in. He hits a crossbody and a headscissors takedown on Julius.

Penta hits a kick, but Julius counters with an Irish whip. Penta floats over and lands a lungblower. He knocks Brutus to the floor and nails Julius with a superkick. As the referee is distracted by Andrade, Chad Gable tries to attack Penta, but Vikingo stops him and they brawl through the crowd. Julius rolls up Penta for a near fall.

Andrade hits back elbows to both Brutus and Julius. Penta follows with the Mexico City Sunrise on Julius for the three count.

Winners: Penta and Andrade

After the match, Seth Rollins’ music hits and he comes out with Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman.

Seth tells Bron and Bronson to circle the ring. As they get on the apron, Andrade and Penta try to fight them off, but Bron and Bronson get inside and overwhelm them. Seth joins in and they begin stomping both men.

Seth holds Andrade in place while Bron hits a spear. Reed slams Penta and follows with a back senton. Rollins then hits Black Out on both Andrade and Penta. Andrade is thrown to the floor, and Penta is dragged into position as Bronson sets up for the Tsunami.

We’re back and Paul Heyman is in the ring with a mic. He says they don’t fear the future—because they are the future. Like it or not. Paul asks the crowd why they’re booing that. He reminds them that before WrestleMania, Seth Rollins said what this industry was becoming—and it happened. He said they’d remove Roman Reigns—and they did. He said they’d put CM Punk out of his misery—and they did. Everything Seth says becomes reality. Paul says Seth is the vanguard of the future—the vanguard of WWE’s destiny.

Heyman tells the crowd they can boo all they want, but tomorrow, Seth Rollins becomes Mr. Money in the Bank. And when he does, it’ll be up to him—who, what, where, and when. The why is obvious: to solidify the power that comes with the title. Paul says Seth will reshape WWE into a future built on his own vision. And it will be the greatest honor of his life—both professionally and personally—when he gets to stand in the ring and say: “The reigning, defending…”

Cody Rhodes’ music interrupts. He makes his way to the ring. Cody steps in, and Seth holds Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed back. Before anything can happen, Jey Uso’s music hits. Jey walks down through the crowd and heads toward the ring. Seeing both men closing in, Seth and Paul exit the ring.

We’re back with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso standing in the ring. Cody grabs a mic and asks the crowd in Bakersfield, “What do you want to talk about?” He throws out a few options—Money in the Bank? The Intuit Dome? Jey Uso? John Cena? Logan Paul?

Cody then turns to Jey and asks what John said to him. He says John Cena called him desperate. Cody calls that bold, considering Cena’s own recent actions—going back and forth and teaming with Logan Paul. Cody compares it to seeing Michael Hayes with the Hardy Boys. He says desperate is what WrestleMania 41 represents—throwing away years of goodwill for a title. But tomorrow, Cody says, isn’t about a title—it’s about a showdown. That’s when John Cena’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring.

John Cena gets his official introduction.

Logan Paul sneaks into the ring and blindsides Jey Uso with a punch. He goes after Cody Rhodes, but Cody blocks it—only to get hit in the head with the title belt by Cena. Cena then lifts Jey and drops him with an Attitude Adjustment. Logan follows up with the Paulverizer on Cody, then heads to the top rope and hits a frog splash on Cody—and another one on Jey.

Cody and Jey are tossed out of the ring.

Cena grabs a mic and tells the crowd to take a good look—because no one is coming to save them. He says he’s been warning everyone for half a year that their dream of what WWE is will be ruined. “This is your future.” Cena points to Logan, calling himself the one who takes WWE home, the moment maker, the last real champion, and Logan Paul “the inevitable future face of WWE.”

He tells the crowd to humble themselves for the humblest: future world champion Logan Paul.

Cena rolls to the floor, grabs Cody, and brings him back in for another Attitude Adjustment. Logan drags Jey back in and lands a punch.

The crowd chants for R-Truth. Cena snaps back, saying, “You can’t handle the truth.” He points to Logan and says, “Your truth is right here, staring you in the face.” He tells the fans there’s nothing they can do about it and calls them pathetic liars.

Cena finishes by saying this is why you’re losers. He tells the crowd to remember his words, especially since this is his last time in Bakersfield. “Winners write the history books. Your future champion and the last real champion.”

We fade to black as the show ends.
