Uriah Connors is feeling the painful price of stepping in the ring—literally. The fourth-generation WWE star and son of Fit Finlay suffered a brutal mouth injury during the June 3 episode of NXT, and he’s not shying away from showing fans just how real it got.

Connors teamed with Andre Chase and Kale Dixon as part of Chase U, only to suffer a loss at the hands of Darkstate’s Cutler James, Dion Lennox, and Osiris Griffin. But the defeat wasn’t the only thing Connors walked away with. After the match, he took to social media with a graphic update that left fans wincing.

“A few chipped teeth and lil hole in the tongue.”

Alongside the tweet, Connors included a gnarly photo of the damage to his tongue, which has since gone viral. You can check it out at your own risk, but fair warning—it’s not for the squeamish.

The 20-year-old prospect then followed up by revealing he underwent dental work as a result of the injury. Clearly in pain but still keeping his humor intact, Connors tweeted:

“On behalf of Dark State… I j took a needle to the face 😭 #newteeth”

Connors, who previously wrestled under the name Brogan Finlay, signed with WWE in December 2023. He made his televised debut during the NXT Roadblock special in March 2024, going one-on-one with Shawn Spears. In April, he officially became part of the revamped Chase U faction, continuing his family’s deep-rooted wrestling legacy.

This latest injury serves as another reminder that NXT’s rising stars are literally bleeding for their craft—and that Uriah Connors isn’t afraid to show it.
