Starrcast Texas just locked in another major name—and this time, it’s The Ballsy Badass herself. Former WWE star Shotzi Blackheart has been officially announced for Starrcast Texas during AEW All In: Texas Week, joining the already confirmed appearance of Sting.

In a tweet from Starrcast’s official account, Shotzi was announced with a bold poster and a familiar green-haired look, signaling her first major public appearance post-WWE.

“‘The Ballsy Badass’ Shotzi Blackheart will be at Starrcast Texas! Get your bracelets to meet @ShotziWWE now! LINK BELOW.”

This comes shortly after Shotzi confirmed during an appearance on Daria and Toni Unwrapped that she would continue using her name outside WWE. She emphasized that she had the name before signing with the company—and she’s keeping it.

“Yeah, I’m going Shotzi. That’s it. Yes. I mean, like, I was Shotzi before WWE, so I’m continuing to be Shotzi. It’s so great that they don’t own it. I’m surprised.”

Fans will get a chance to meet her during the July 11–12 Starrcast Texas event at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel. Shotzi will also return to the ring at MLW’s Summer of the Beasts in New York on June 26, and she’s determined to prove she’s more than her injury history.

Also confirmed for Starrcast Texas is none other than Sting. The Icon will appear during All In: Texas week, and Starrcast announced it in classic fashion by referencing Tony Schiavone:

“Who’s the first official guest announced for Starrcast Texas this July? 👀 In the words of Tony Schiavone… ‘IT’S STIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGG!’ That’s right — The Icon himself is headed to Arlington for Starrcast Texas!”

Confirmed names for Starrcast Texas 2025 include:

  • Shotzi Blackheart
  • Sting
  • Bryan Danielson
  • Jon Moxley
  • Toni Storm (with her butler Luther)
  • Swerve Strickland
  • Mina Shirakawa
  • The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs)
  • The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MJF)
  • Ric Flair
  • Bull Nakano
  • Monty Brown

The event will take place July 11–12 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel in Texas. With AEW’s All In: Texas looming, fans are now left wondering if these Starrcast appearances could lead to surprise cameos at the big show itself.

Shotzi’s WWE run may be over, but she’s clearly just getting started. Her next chapter is already attracting attention—and she’s taking full control of her career on her own terms.
