Seth Rollins just spilled some surprisingly wholesome backstage tea—John Cena, the face of WWE for over two decades, is in a private coffee-themed group chat with Rollins and longtime friend Claudio Castagnoli.

During his appearance on Up & Adams, Rollins opened up about Cena’s farewell run and slipped in the fact that the 16-time world champ has been stepping out more, thanks to their caffeine-driven crew.

When asked how it feels to watch Cena close out his WWE career, Rollins offered a warm perspective, then shared a fun behind-the-scenes detail.

“John and I are on a little uh coffee uh group chat because we love coffee. John’s a coffee connoisseur. I actually take a lot of pride in this. I’m not going to take full credit… He’s in there with myself and one of our other friends, Claudio Castagnoli, who’s been a longtime friend of ours.”

According to Rollins, the trio uses the chat to share travel coffee shop finds, especially while on the road with wrestling.

“We travel all the time. So we’re always going to different coffee shops. For years, John was like a hermit when he traveled because he didn’t want to be bothered, rightfully so. I get it. You know, I deal with that on a very small scale compared to what John Cena would get if he walked into a coffee shop.”

The best part? Rollins says their low-key chat actually convinced Cena to loosen up and venture out more.

“But through our urging—and this is partially from this coffee chat—I think John has now gotten out a little bit and gone to some coffee shops. His wife helped him a lot with that, but he’s gotten out and about. So I’m very proud of that.”

So while Cena may be winding down his in-ring career, he’s ramping up his coffee shop game—and we’ve got Rollins, Claudio, and a group chat to thank for it.
