The situation outside WWE’s Performance Center on June 3 just took a sharp turn—thanks to an official update from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office that puts a whole new face on the arrest.

While initial rumors called it a “Liv Morgan stalker” situation, and later reports suggested trespassing and even a possible fight outside the building, law enforcement has now confirmed what really went down late Tuesday night in Orlando.

According to a new statement released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, the person arrested was 41-year-old Shawn Chan—and it had nothing to do with Liv Morgan or WWE directly. Deputies say Chan was picked up because of an outstanding burglary warrant from a different county.

“On June 3, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies made contact with Shawn Chan outside of the WWE Performance Center located at 5055 Forsyth Commerce Rd.,” the statement reads. “Chan had an outstanding warrant for burglary from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.”

The statement clarified this had nothing to do with WWE beyond the location and continued:

“Chan was placed under arrest and booked into the Orange County Jail. We have no details whatsoever about the Pasco County case, so you will need to reach out to that agency for more information.”

The official arrest report logs Chan’s time of apprehension as 10:49 PM Eastern Time and confirms that the responding officer’s body-worn camera was active during the arrest.

This clears up a lot—but not everything. Earlier in the day, multiple outlets reported arrests for trespassing outside the NXT taping, and even referenced a version of events involving a physical altercation. Ringside News previously confirmed no one was charged with stalking and that Armando Alejandro Montalvo, a past problem for WWE, was not involved.

For now, one arrest is confirmed—but with so many conflicting accounts and law enforcement tight-lipped about the broader situation, the full story still isn’t locked in.

Update: A second arrest has now been confirmed involving a suspected stalker targeting Liv Morgan.
