Kevin Owens Unsure About In-Ring Future After Neck Injury

Kevin Owens announced back in April that he needed neck surgery and that’s why he ultimately had to miss out on WrestleMania 41. While there’s no idea when he’ll even get surgery, Owens has now admitted he’s uncertain about returning to the ring again.

While speaking to Le10Sport, Kevin Owens talked about the possibility of returning to WWE and competing in the ring again, as he admitted that he’s unsure if he will ever wrestle again.

The Prizefighter stated that it wouldn’t be right to claim with certainty that he will be back in the ring or have more matches because at this point, he just doesn’t know if that’s true.

“It would be, not arrogant, but false to say right now that I’m absolutely going to return to the ring, that I’m going to have more matches. I don’t know if that’s true.”

It was previously reported that the company is no longer planning creative around Kevin Owens’ return this year. It’s “quite possible” that he won’t be medically cleared in time for WrestleMania 42.

Kevin Owens’ future may be uncertain right now, but one thing is clear, the WWE Universe is fully behind him no matter what he decides to do next. While fans are clearly hoping he’ll recover from his injuries and return to the ring, nothing is guaranteed at this point. Therefore, we’ll have to see what will happen to Owens in the end.
