Jacy Jayne isn’t wasting any time sending a message to WWE’s newest arrival—and she just made it personal.

Mariah May officially made her WWE debut during the June 3 episode of NXT, appearing on the balcony above the chaos after a brawl broke out between top contenders in the women’s division. While the likes of Jordynne Grace, Lainey Reid, Lola Vice, and others battled below, the camera cut to May, who made it clear she’s here to run the show.

But not everyone’s impressed. Current NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne didn’t hesitate to throw shade in May’s direction after WWE posted the debut clip on Twitter. Jayne fired off a one-line shot that says everything about how she feels.

“Oh look, another new flavor of the month,” she remarked

Jayne has good reason to feel territorial—she just captured the NXT Women’s Championship on the May 27 episode by defeating Stephanie Vaquer, who’s now been called up to Monday Night RAW. But instead of celebrating her reign, she’s already fending off a flood of challengers—and May’s arrival is clearly striking a nerve.

May, on the other hand, is embracing the spotlight. She tweeted “honey I’m home @WWE @WWENXT” after her debut and followed it up in a WWE exclusive promo with a direct message to fans:

“Mariah May. It’s about. Damn time. I’ve. Wrestled all over the world. And it’s only right. That the glamour. Arrives in. NXT.”

Now, with a fresh title reign on the line and a confident new threat standing on the outside looking in, Jacy Jayne might be picking fights she’ll regret—especially if Mariah May is more than just hype.

Was Jacy Jayne out of line with her “flavor of the month” comment? Or is she just playing defense with the gold on her shoulder? Let us know what you think in the comments.
