Jakara Jackson is done waiting around—and she’s not coming back as the same woman WWE fans last saw.

After getting released last month during WWE’s latest wave of cuts, Jackson is embracing a total transformation. The former NXT star dropped a dramatic hype video on social media, declaring her new identity as Mara Sadè—and she’s not here to play it safe.

Now officially a free agent, Jackson used the past month to rebrand herself and come out swinging. In the video, she debuted striking blonde hair and a raw message of personal power, signaling that her next chapter won’t be dictated by anyone but her.

Speaking straight to camera with confidence, Jackson made it clear that she isn’t interested in fitting into anyone’s expectations or proving doubters wrong.

“I never really liked coloring inside the lines. Me in a box? Never. And I’m certainly not here to prove anybody wrong. What I’m here to do is prove me right.”

She went on to emphasize that her future will be shaped entirely by her own creative vision, describing herself as both the creator and the inspiration behind it all.

“And in this piece of my life, I’m the artist, the muse, and the oeur. Look it up. Say it with me—Mara Shade. Tastes good, don’t it?”

In her final message to fans, Jackson doubled down on her ambition and drive. She’s not here for shortcuts—she’s here to move forward relentlessly.

“It’s about that time I bring that action. The only difference is, I’m all motion, no limits. Ain’t no quitting Shade, ’cause I’m a go-getter to the death of me.”

This rebrand comes right on time, as Jackson—now Mara Sadè—has already confirmed she’ll be accepting bookings on the independent wrestling scene starting June 1st. With a fresh identity and fiery focus, she’s clearly aiming to leave her mark outside the WWE system. Whether it’s stateside or overseas, Mara Sadè looks ready to shake things up on her own terms.
