Britt Baker Receives High-Stakes Match Challenge for AEW All In: Texas

Britt Baker’s been away from AEW television for several months now but that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten. In fact, the doctor has now been challenged for a huge stipulation match at AEW All In: Texas.

While speaking on her vlog, Thunder Rosa challenged Britt Baker to a hair vs. hair match at AEW All In: Texas and said that she wants the match for two reasons. Firstly, she knows it will get a lot of attention and make money.

Secondly, La Mera Mera believes Britt Baker will always be connected to her, no matter what. Rosa stated that knowing Britt Baker can’t escape her name makes her happy.

“I throw a challenge. Just a little challenge. Hair versus hair, you know, um, against my, uh, my nemesis Britt Baker for All In. And the reason why I’m doing it is, one, well, because I know there’s money on the table. But two, she’s bonded by blood with me. She cannot get rid of my name no matter what happens—ever. And that gives me a lot of pleasure, too.”

Britt Baker has not appeared on AEW since the November 13th episode of AEW Dynamite, meaning it’s been over six months without any signs of her returning to AEW TV soon.

The All In: Texas pay-per-view will be taking place Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on July 12, 2025. Considering how Baker’s match against Mercedes Mone was received at All In last year, we’ll have to see whether Baker and Thunder Rosa will duke it out at this year’s All In, as it would definitely be seen as redemption for Britt Baker.
