Chelsea Green suffered a broken nose during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, making many fans wonder if she would have to miss television time because of the injury and now her WWE television status has been revealed.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Chelsea Green broke her nose after taking a 619 from Zelina Vega. However, it was a clean break, and she isn’t expected to miss any time on TV as Meltzer said, “Chelsea Green suffered a broken nose from the 619 by Zelina Vega. I don’t expect her off TV at all. It was a clean break.”
Chelsea Green got injured during Saturday Night’s Main Event while facing Zelina Vega in a match for the WWE Women’s United States Championship, since things clearly didn’t go her way in the match.
During a moment when Vega attempted a 619, she slipped going through the ropes, and her legs hit Green hard in the face, which led to Green suffering a broken nose. She was bleeding by the end of the match and appeared to be in a lot of pain. Vega won the match after hitting a Code Red on Green from the top rope, successfully retaining her title.
It’s certainly great to know that Chelsea Green isn’t expected to miss out on any television time after suffering a broken nose. Therefore, we’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for Green next since it’s clear she still wants to reclaim the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
