AEW Double or Nothing is set for May 25, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona and with just a few days left before the event, another match has been confirmed for the event during the latest set of AEW Collision tapings.
During the AEW Collision taping for the May 22nd episode, which was taped on May 21st at the Rio Rancho Events Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kyle Fletcher beat Jay Lethal in a singles match. After the match ended, Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita ran in and attacked Lethal. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong came out to help and chased them away.
Paragon then defeated Zack Gibson and James Drake. After the match, Adam Cole got on the microphone and said The Don Callis Family needed to be taught a lesson. He challenged them to a match at Double or Nothing.
Later in the show, Josh Alexander beat AR Fox in singles competition. Following the match, Don Callis accepted the challenge. The match was made official for Double or Nothing as Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita & Josh Alexander will face Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly.
AEW Double or Nothing just got even more exciting with a big six-man tag team match added to the show and now we’ll have to wait and see whether the pay-per-view will surpass all expectations, as fans feel AEW has a lot of momentum heading into the event.
