Will Ospreay brought a couple of beers into the ring, and he offered a cheers for his Double or Nothing opponent. Hangman didn’t drink, but Ospreay did take a sip. Then Ospreay said that he wanted to petition to Tony Khan that their match get the main event spot at Double or Nothing. He wants to come after the Anarchy in the Arena match. Ospreay made it very clear how badly he wants to bring back the gold belt from Jon Moxley’s briefcase.

Ospreay spoke about how jetlagged he is all the time with his constant travel. He then went on to say how he wants to be the champion when they roll into London for Forbidden Door. He wants his kid to see him walk into Forbidden Door as World Champion, and then it was Hangman’s time to speak after a long pause.

Adam Page said that the difference between himself and Ospreay is that they both want the title, but Hangman knows that honor. Hangman said that it’s personal for himself, because he doesn’t want this opportunity, he needs it. He said he’s never won a tournament in AEW, and his one title run wasn’t great for him. He also started screaming about how he wants his wife and kids to respect him and look up to him. He said he needs this for himself, because he needs to know that “there can be some kind of light at the end of this two-year tunnel through Hell.”

Will Ospreay got in Adam Page’s face, asking him what he’s going to do about it. He then asked if he’s going to wrap a chair around his head like he did with Chrisopher Daniels. Ospreay promised to do his best at Double or Nothing, even if his best isn’t always good enough, he will still do it without whining to Tony Khan if he doesn’t get his way. Ospreay then exploded on Hangman, listing off a bunch of big names he’s defeated, before he declared that he’s the best, bruv.

In the end, Will Ospreay said that he has Hangman Page’s back. He also hopes that Page has his. Then Ospreay drank his beer like Stone Cold with a little Triple H spit at the end before Hangman guzzled his beer in the middle the ring. It was then confirmed on commentary that the two will be the main event at Double or Nothing.
