Gabe Kidd made his presence felt during the May 14th edition of AEW Dynamite as he interfered in Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe’s steel cage match and aligned himself with the Death Riders. In light of his shocking actions, Gabe Kidd has now addressed the same.
While speaking to Denise Salcedo, Gabe Kidd was asked why he helped out Jon Moxley. However, Kidd didn’t give a straight answer. He said the reason is obvious and people just need to look at what’s happening. He said everything is part of a plan and fans will understand soon enough.
“You don’t need to worry about that. You know, it’s right in front of your eyes. If you want to ask these questions and you want to know what’s going on in my mind, it’s right in front of you. It’s right in front of you. It’s clear as day, easy to see. So I’m not answering that. You can put two and two together. It’s a very obviously calculated plan that is coming together. So sit back, ’cause you’ll know what’s about to happen. You’ll know.”
Gabe Kidd also said he fits well with the Death Riders because they have the same mindset. He added that they share the same violent goals, and that’s why they work well together.
“We are very like-minded. That is all I need to say. We are very like-minded in our goals. In our goals, in our violent goals, we are very like-minded. That’s what I have to say.”
When asked if he might join the Anarchy in the Arena match, Gabe said that kind of chaos is exactly what he loves. He feels comfortable in those wild matches because they let him be himself.
Kidd said most people don’t get what he goes through in his mind every day, and matches like this let him release all of that energy. He’s excited for the chance to fight in that kind of dangerous environment.
“Listen, that is my game. That is what I am all about. That is what I live for—those environments. So it will make me extremely relaxed. It will allow me to cruise through this week and plot some very violent things to do to people. You know, I don’t think people understand what goes through my head, what I have to fight with every day. It’s crazy. So this, for me, is fun. This is an accumulation of everything that I live through and go through coming out of my body. All my energy being released. It’s crazy. So I very much look forward to being in that environment.”
With the Anarchy in the Arena match taking place at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 25th, we’ll have to wait and see whether Gabe Kidd will show the world a level of violence never seen before in the match, as his inclusion will definitely make things more interesting.
