WWE is looking to take its live event schedule to the next level in Mexico.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes, the company is preparing to run multiple shows south of the border, all leading up to a major “SuperShow Mexico” event.
“We’re told WWE is planning to run multiple live events in Mexico in the near future, all centered around a featured ‘SuperShow Mexico’ event,” the report states.
While specific dates and locations are still being finalized, the report suggests that WWE is actively developing this new touring block to further expand its international footprint.
This move comes as WWE continues to ramp up its global live event schedule, recently announcing shows in Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. With a “SuperShow Mexico” in the works, the company is clearly targeting a larger market presence in Latin America.
