WWE’s annual Draft is reportedly still on the table for 2025, but finding the right time to fit it into their packed event calendar is proving to be a challenge. It was recently revealed that the Draft is still planned, but its exact timing remains uncertain.

Bryan Alvarez addressed the speculation on Wrestling Observer Radio, suggesting that the Draft could happen later this month during WWE’s Memorial Day weekend takeover in Tampa, Florida. The lineup includes Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE Battleground, WWE Monday Night Raw, and WWE NXT, all taking place at the Yuengling Center.

“For whatever reason, Giulia and Roxanne are still considered NXT talents,” Alvarez said. “Roxanne has been a regular on the main roster since Royal Rumble; she should be petitioning for main roster back pay. She’s been here so often.

Alvarez continued, saying that while nothing is set in stone, it’s “very likely at the end of this month, when they’re doing that series of dates in Tampa, it’s very likely there might be a draft on that weekend or that week.”

The Draft could also lead to main roster call-ups for other NXT stars, with Alvarez mentioning Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Kelani Jordan as potential names to watch. “But they can’t call everybody up at once,” he noted. “But there’s a reason that a lot of women were cut in the last couple of weeks, and that is because they are making room on the roster for a lot of other women to get called up.”

WWE fans will have to wait and see if the Draft shakes up the landscape once again, but with multiple shows lined up in Tampa, the timing seems right.
