Liv Morgan is wrapping up her movie shoot for Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo this Friday, but her WWE return remains up in the air. According to Sean Ross Sapp, Morgan will finish filming by the end of the week and is expected to travel back to the United States on Saturday.
During the post-Raw show, Sapp addressed Morgan’s potential return, saying, “I don’t know if she’s going to be at next week’s Raw. It’s possible, but I won’t say, ‘Oh, of course, she’s going to be immediately back.’ She could—and knowing her, she probably would.”
Raw is set to take place in Greenville, South Carolina, next Monday. While Morgan could theoretically make her return then, Sapp suggested that WWE may hold off her comeback for the Saturday Night Main Event in Tampa. “If you don’t have her worked into the Saturday Night Main Event plans, I’d say probably just have her come back at Tampa,” Sapp added.
Sapp also noted that while Liv’s usual style is to jump back in as soon as possible, her return depends entirely on WWE’s plans. He said, “Or she could make an appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event since it’s all in Tampa. But I’m not expecting her back next week.”
In Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, Morgan stars alongside Lily James and Shun Oguri as the daughter of a missing politician. The film, directed by Takeshi Miike, will be released by Neon, the studio behind the Oscar-winning Anora.
Liv Morgan’s return to WWE is highly anticipated, but with her film commitments wrapping up and WWE’s schedule packed with major events, it’s still unclear when fans will see her back in the ring.
