Jakara Jackson isn’t letting her WWE release derail her dreams.
In a YouTube video posted on May 10, 2025, the former Meta-Four member, now going by her real name Jamara, opened up about her next steps — and wrestling is still very much on the agenda.
“Yes, I definitely want to continue wrestling,” Jackson said. “I also want to dabble in acting. The sky’s the limit at this point. I want to do a lot of things, but wrestling, I’m definitely going to continue.”
Despite her WWE run being cut short, Jackson is determined to accomplish the goals she never got the chance to achieve in NXT. “My bucket list moment — or at least what was on my bucket list, what is still on my bucket list — was having a storyline I can sink my teeth into and show depth in my character,” she said. “Also holding a title, you know what I’m saying? I want to hold gold.”
Jackson emphasized that her wrestling career isn’t over, even if WWE is in the rearview mirror. “Do I wish that I could have shown the world what I can do on my own? Hell yes,” she admitted. “And the way I see it, I’m still going to get that opportunity just in a different way. And that’s totally fine because it’s not the end of the world.”
Jackson also expressed her gratitude to the fans who have stuck by her side. “As much as y’all say that I motivate you, y’all motivate me to go hard,” she said. “I’ve fallen in love with this art, but it’s just everything that I love and want. So I feel like I’m at home here.”
For now, Jackson plans to keep fans updated through her YouTube channel and social media. “Keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned because the transformation is going to be something serious,” she said. “I don’t like to talk about it. I like to be about it. So that being said, you will see what is to come.”
