Alicia Taylor has been calling the action in WWE rings since 2018, but the veteran ring announcer has no time for the “stupidity” she sees online.

During an interview with Bully Ray on Busted Open After Dark, Taylor didn’t hold back when asked about the toughest part of her job.

“For me, as an announcer, I would say having to ignore the stupidity of online people,” Taylor said. “I’m not really a social media person. I’m definitely not a social person. I’m not.”

Despite being in the spotlight as a WWE ring announcer, Taylor keeps a tight circle and avoids the spotlight whenever possible. “I’ve done one interview since I’ve been in WWE and that’s just because the guy was from my college and I was like, ‘Let me do the hometown thing,’” she revealed. “I don’t like people to really know much about me, my circle is very small.”

Taylor’s low-key approach to her career is a stark contrast to many of her WWE colleagues who thrive on social media interactions and self-promotion. But for Taylor, staying away from the noise and avoiding unnecessary drama seems to be working just fine.

Do you think Alicia Taylor’s decision to stay out of the public eye is smart in today’s wrestling world, or is she missing out on opportunities to connect with fans? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
