Zach Gowen is set to make his AEW in-ring debut against Ricochet at AEW Dynamite Beach Break on May 14 — and there’s plenty of bad blood going into this one. Gowen hasn’t wrestled since October 2024, but Ricochet made sure to get his attention by stealing Gowen’s prosthetic leg during an attack on AEW Collision.

AEW officially announced the matchup, putting Gowen in a high-stakes showdown against the high-flying Ricochet. The incident on Collision has set the stage for what could be a brutal encounter, as Gowen looks for payback after Ricochet’s cheap shot.

The Beach Break lineup is already stacked, with Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage match and Will Ospreay & Adam Page teaming up to face Konosuke Takeshita & Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family.

But all eyes will be on Gowen as he steps back into the ring after a seven-month absence, ready to settle the score with Ricochet.
