Shotzi has finally broken her silence—and her message is all heart.
Just moments after reports confirmed that WWE will not be renewing her contract, Shotzi took to Twitter to address her departure directly. Without bitterness or drama, she shared a message full of gratitude and hope for what’s ahead. “I am more than grateful for the wild ride! Can’t wait to see where this crazy journey takes me next! I hope to make all my believers proud. 💚”
The timing of her post comes after it was reported that while Shotzi has not officially been released, she was informed her contract is “up soon” and WWE won’t be extending it. Her profile has already been moved to the WWE.com alumni section, further confirming that her time with the company is wrapping up.
Shotzi signed with WWE in 2019 and quickly became one of NXT’s most charismatic stars, eventually capturing the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Ember Moon. Known for her entrance in a mini-tank and her fearless in-ring style, she made an unforgettable impression before injuries and creative setbacks slowed her main roster push. She recently spent time in NXT again, helping develop newer talent and closing out her run with appearances alongside Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin.
While the exact date her contract ends hasn’t been confirmed, one thing is clear—Shotzi is moving on, and she’s doing it her way.
