Rhio’s Current NXT Debut Status Amid Growing WWE Interest Revealed

Rhio is currently one of the UK independent circuit’s biggest names and there’s obviously a lot of interest from WWE’s side as well. While speculation about her future is still rampant, Rhio’s current debut status for NXT has been revealed.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful was asked about Rhio’s status with NXT and whether she was signed to the WWE developmental brand. It was pointed out that Rhio will put her PROGRESS career on the line during their May 4th event, where she will challenge for Nina Samuels for the PROGRESS Women’s Title. If Rhio loses, she’s gone from PROGRESS Wrestling.

Sean Ross Sapp noted that Rhio is not currently listed on the internal NXT roster. However, she has been brought in for extra work and has already had a UK tryout. WWE is clearly interested in her, and she’s someone they’re keeping an eye on closely.

Rhio has also made appearances during a recent set of NXT television tapings and many fans feel it’s simply a matter of time before she will join WWE. However, there’s no guarantee she is joining just yet.

Right now, Rhio’s future with WWE is still uncertain, but there’s growing excitement about the possibility of her joining. WWE clearly sees her talent and fans are now looking forward to finding out if she will be the next big star in the NXT women’s division.
