Braun Strowman isn’t letting his WWE release drag him down—he’s literally riding the waves instead.
A day after it was confirmed that the former Universal Champion was let go in WWE’s latest round of cuts, Strowman took to Instagram Stories on May 3rd to show fans exactly how he’s handling the situation. In one clip, he can be seen enjoying a jet ski ride and shouting, “Look at this friggin water!”—clearly in high spirits and unfazed by the news.
It’s a similar tone to the quiet but pointed post he shared just hours after the release went public—a photo of himself holding a drink on a boat, with the sunset in the background. No caption. No explanation. Just vibes.
Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, has already been through this once before. WWE first released him in 2021, only for him to return a year later during Triple H’s regime shift. During his run, he built a name as one of WWE’s most physically dominant superstars—flipping vehicles, tearing down rings, and capturing the Universal Title at WrestleMania 36.
Now, with WWE trimming down under the TKO Group, Strowman finds himself out of the company once again. But if his social media is any indication, he’s not exactly losing sleep over it.
