Hulk Hogan shocked the world after he announced his new venture called Real American Freestyle Wrestling. The first show will be taking place on August 30 in Cleveland, Ohio and now he has hinted at Donald Trump making an appearance at the event.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Hulk Hogan was asked if his connection with President Donald Trump helped him get involved with Real American Freestyle Wrestling, especially after Trump showed up at the NCAA Championships and got a lot of attention.
Hogan said that Trump’s involvement was definitely factored in, but the project had already started months earlier. He explained that they were already working on it before, saying, “Well, it definitely factored in, but we were way ahead of the game. We had already started this months and months before.”
Hogan then hinted that Donald Trump might even be involved in the upcoming Real American Freestyle Wrestling event on August 30 in Cleveland. The Hulkster said he planned to make a special phone call and that he might “know somebody” who could make a surprise appearance.
“But to see our President step up and be involved? I said, ‘I think I know who’s going to be at our August 30th event in Cleveland.’ I’m gonna make a special phone call. You know, that sounds— I might know somebody. I might know somebody. I’d say so. Yeah— the big man himself.”
Hulk Hogan has always been a strong supporter of Donald Trump, and so fans wouldn’t be surprised if the President does make an appearance at Real American Freestyle Wrestling’s debut show on August 30th. After all, Trump’s appearance at the event could be what Hogan’s new venture needs to set it apart from the rest, since Hogan obviously has a lot of big things planned for Real American Freestyle Wrestling.
