Rhio, one of the standout names on the UK indie wrestling scene, recently popped up at WWE NXT tapings—and now she’s breaking her silence on exactly why she was there.

Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, the former RevPro and Progress Wrestling star didn’t shy away from the topic. “Do you know what? It was kind of crazy, because I’d just gone to Florida for five weeks. I’ve got a visa, so I thought, might as well use it,” she said, revealing that her visit wasn’t necessarily part of some formal WWE invite—she just made the most of the opportunity while being in town.

Rhio explained that she was staying with fellow UK talent Wolfgang and his wife Molly Spartan during her time in Orlando. “Me and Molly Spartan go back quite far. We went viral together and got a lot of hate together on the internet. Well, we’re close like that,” she shared.

With Wolfgang being part of Gallus, Rhio said her presence at the NXT tapings was also about supporting her friends. “I would just go along to kind of support him and Gallus,” she added.

But it wasn’t just about being in the crowd. Rhio admitted she’s got her eyes on WWE’s developmental system for her future. “I feel like NXT is somewhere I could see myself being, so I would be stupid to not look at the product,” she said. “I enjoy NXT. I enjoy all wrestling. I’m not gonna say on one side or the other, tribalism don’t come for me. I love all wrestling across the board, no matter the brand.”

Rhio’s recent WWE tryout during the company’s European tour before WrestleMania 41 added fuel to speculation about her future. While she didn’t confirm any deals or contracts, her words make it clear—she’s watching, and she wants in.
