Logan Paul is now a full-time WWE Superstar, but he used to be known for his boxing career. Some fans thought he wasn’t taking wrestling seriously, but now Paul claimed that he turned down a $15 million boxing match because of his WWE schedule, showing how committed he is to wrestling.
While speaking on the RAW recap show, Logan Paul was asked if he would make more appearances if he actually ended up winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The Maverick stated that he’s fully available and has committed his life to being a WWE Superstar. He mentioned turning down a $15 million offer to fight Lionel Messi’s bodyguard because he’s focused solely on wrestling.
While doing other side projects works for some people, he wants to give everything to WWE. He ended by saying he’s ready and wants to be booked by Triple H and Nick Khan.
“I’m gonna say this, Wrestling Twitter take it away. I am available. Seriously. I am available. I have time, committed my life to becoming a WWE Superstar. I’m not doing other opportunities. I got offered $15 million to fight Messi’s bodyguard. Super appetizing, super cool, but I’m a WWE Superstar, I’m on a mission right now and while doing ancillary stuff works for other people, I’m devoting my life to this. So I turned that down and I’m gonna be the best that I can. So Triple H, Nick Khan, book me.”
Lionel Messi’s bodyguard Yassine Cheuko is a mixed martial arts fighter who has competed in several matches. Earlier this year, he challenged Logan Paul to a boxing match. This led to an invitation for them to meet in Puerto Rico, but the fight never ended up happening.
This comes after Logan Paul recently backtracked on retiring from professional boxing, since he’s still willing to get back into boxing for a great payday. Nonetheless, even if he re-enters the ring one day for the right price, for now, WWE is his top priority and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.
