Joe Hendry is officially in the building—and things might get real tonight on WWE NXT.

Just an hour and a half before showtime, WWE posted footage confirming that TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has arrived at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando for tonight’s April 29 episode of NXT. This comes after Trick Williams blindsided Hendry at TNA Rebellion 2025, setting off a cross-promotional firestorm.

After Hendry successfully defended his title in a triple threat against Frankie Kazarian and Ethan Page, Trick stormed the ring, dropped Hendry with a spinning kick, and sealed the deal with the Trick Shot. He then picked up the TNA World Title, stared it down, and tossed it onto Hendry’s chest before walking off—sending a clear message.

Then came the invite. “Trick Williams crossed the line. NXT is everywhere – RAW, SmackDown and tonight at TNA Rebellion,” Shawn Michaels tweeted that same night. “@JoeHendry you have an open invitation this Tuesday to come to @WWENXT, and settle this issue with Trick. 8/7c @TheCW.”

Now we know Hendry accepted that invitation—and he’s here. What happens next is anyone’s guess.

Tonight’s NXT is already packed with action, including IYO SKY teaming with Jordynne Grace to face Giulia and Roxanne Perez, title defenses from Hank & Tank and Ricky Saints, and a heated face-to-face between Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. But with Hendry in the building, all eyes are now on a possible confrontation with Trick Williams.

Do you think Joe Hendry should defend the TNA World Title on NXT? What’s your dream outcome if Trick and Hendry finally go at it? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
