Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41 and heading into the match, there was a lot of animosity between the two and now Stratton has revealed whether things between her and Flair are better now.
While speaking to Alfred Konuwa, Tiffany Stratton was asked if she and Charlotte Flair had a moment once the dust settled and whether they were able to make peace after WrestleMania 41.
Stratton explained that after the match, they shared a moment of sportsmanship, and Charlotte Flair told her she was proud of her. She confirmed that everything between them was good.
“Yeah, me and Charlotte, after the match, it was kind of like a sportsmanship thing, you know. We said ‘good game,’ and she said she’s proud of me. But yeah, everything’s good.”
Stratton was then asked if she felt at any point that her feud with Charlotte made her feel like “never meet your heroes.” She admitted that at times things felt personal, but stated that it was live television and that moments like that can happen. Ultimately, she believed everything happened for a reason and panned out the way it was meant to.
“Yeah, of course. I felt like things got personal, and it’s live TV — things happen. But I feel like everything happened for a reason, and this is how things were supposed to pan out.”
Despite the personal beef leading up to their WrestleMania 41 bout, it’s clear that Stratton and Flair have put their differences aside. They’ve shown professionalism and mutual respect following their solid match at the Showcase of the Immortals, and fans wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
