Dominik Mysterio has built a reputation as one of WWE’s top trash talkers, and no one is really off-limits. This includes all the WWE luchadors, and he has now called them out for hiding behind their masks, saying it’s because they are ugly.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Dominik Mysterio was asked for his thoughts on modern-day luchadors in WWE, including Penta and Rey Fenix. He said it took long enough for people to notice, claiming that there are around 12 or 13 masked wrestlers and that it doesn’t even matter because they all hide their faces.

Dominik Mysterio called himself a good-looking guy who doesn’t need to wear a mask and mentioned that if you look back at the WCW segment where wrestlers were unmasked, there was a reason for it, because the masked wrestlers were ugly.

“I mean, took them long enough. We got, what is it, 12, 13 guys with masks on — it doesn’t even matter, right? They all hide their faces. I’m a good-looking dude, I don’t need to wear a mask. If you go back to the WCW segment where they unmasked everyone, there’s a reason these guys wear masks — they’re all ugly.”

Mysterio made it clear he doesn’t care about Penta and Fenix, calling them fossils compared to him. Dominik also pointed out that he already beat Penta at WrestleMania 41 and then beat him again on Raw. He said there is no competition, declaring himself the greatest luchador and claiming that Penta and Fenix aren’t even close to being on his level.

“I don’t give a s*** about Penta and Fenix. They’re fossils at this point compared to me. I already beat Penta — I beat him on the biggest stage of them all and then beat him again on Raw. There’s no need. I am the greatest luchador. These guys aren’t even on my playing field.”

Dominik Mysterio is the current Intercontinental Champion, and fans are already loving his reign, especially since Mysterio is confident he has surpassed every other champion before him. Therefore, we’ll have to see how he will continue to be booked in the coming weeks as it’s clear he isn’t lacking any confidence.
