Kevin Owens might be sidelined from the ring—but he’s still finding ways to fire up a crowd.

Ahead of Game 3 of the NHL playoff series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals on Friday night, the Bell Centre crowd was treated to a hype video—and it was none other than WWE superstar Kevin Owens providing the narration.

Owens, who is currently recovering from a neck injury, was honored to be part of the moment. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “What an honor it was for me to lend my voice to this fantastic presentation. A huge thank you to the @CanadiensMTL organization for the invitation!” He also added in French: “What an honor for me to have had the chance to lend my voice to this incredible video. Very grateful for the invitation. Thank you! #GoHabsGo”

The energy clearly worked in Montreal’s favor, as the Canadiens went on to defeat the Capitals 6–3, cutting Washington’s series lead to 2–1.

Even while sidelined from in-ring action, Owens continues to show love for his hometown—and the Canadiens showed just as much love back.
