The April 25 episode of WWE SmackDown had a ton of memorable moments and that included Zelina Vega beating Chelsea Green for the Women’s United States Title and now, Green has thrown a tantrum after her loss and then some.
Chelsea Green took to Twitter and uploaded a video of herself, where she was throwing a tantrum as she placed a giant plaque of herself on a wall dedicated to famous Americans, covering up country singer Jon Pardi’s name.
In the video, she declared that she was still the champion and didn’t care what anyone said. She called herself the first-ever, most dangerous champion in history and insisted she belonged among historic American figures. After searching for the right spot, she found one she thought was perfect, saluted it, and then broke down in tears. She also demanded a recount for good measure.
“I’m still the champion, and I don’t give a damn what anyone says. Do you know who I am? I am the first-ever, most dangerous champion there ever was. I’m putting myself with historic Americans. Not here or here. Wait, this is perfect. I salute you.” [starts crying] “Oh God.”
Chelsea Green won the Women’s United States Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event last year but many fans feel her reign left a lot to be desired, especially since she wasn’t even on WrestleMania 41.
Chelsea Green keeps showing why she’s one of WWE’s most entertaining stars, even when she loses. Whether she goes after Zelina Vega for a rematch or creates more chaos, it’s clear that Chelsea Green isn’t going anywhere and we’ll have to see what’s next for her.
