Jeff and Matt Hardy returned to WWE TV earlier this year, making a surprise appearance on the February 25th edition of NXT and later showing up at NXT Roadblock. Since then, fans have been wondering whether the legendary tag team will make another appearance and now it appears they actually met up with WWE during WrestleMania 41 weekend.

While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy shared that he and Jeff Hardy met with WWE during WrestleMania 41 weekend. After arriving from WrestleCon and having just enough time to freshen up, Matt Hardy shaved and showered before they got into a car sent by WWE, a small limo.

They went to WWE headquarters, spent around 90 minutes working with the company, and ran into a few people while they were there. By the time they returned, the whole trip had taken about two hours.

“We go back from WrestleCon, we just have enough time. I shave, I shower, and then we get in the car — WWE sent a little limo over to get us — we go to WWE HQ, we sit there, we do 90 minutes of work with WWE, and we see some people over there, whatever. This ends up being about two hours by the time we get back.”

This comes after Matt Hardy previously stated that there is a strong possibility of the TNA Tag Team Titles appearing on the main roster. Because of their recent appearances and this private meeting, there’s a good chance the Hardy Boyz could be returning to WWE in a big way. They might come back to NXT, join the main roster again, or even be part of a special storyline involving TNA Wrestling.

No matter what happens next, one thing is clear: Matt and Jeff Hardy are still a big deal in pro wrestling. With all their experience and popularity, WWE could be planning something major for them soon.
