Real Reason Behind GUNTHER’s Indefinite Suspension After Vicious Attack

The April 21st edition of Monday Night Raw featured GUNTHER choking out Pat McAfee and grabbing Michael Cole, which definitely shocked fans. This led to WWE indefinitely suspending the Ring General, and now the real reason behind the suspension has been revealed.

According to Cory Hays of PWN, GUNTHER actually asked for some time off, which is the actual reason why he has been suspended indefinitely. Right now, there’s no word on how long he will be away from WWE television.

GUNTHER’s despicable actions were due to the fact that Jey Uso tapped him out at WrestleMania 41, leading to Jey Uso winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Not just that, Pat McAfee already commented on the attack earlier this week, revealing that he had to visit a medical facility in Las Vegas after being choked out by GUNTHER on RAW. McAfee was worried about a potential neck injury, but was cleared after getting a medical evaluation.

“For this here neck that GUNTHER smashed up and choked me out on Monday Night Raw, I went to a medical facility in Las Vegas. I thought maybe I was gonna have a C2, C3—something in the neck—because of how it felt, but I was deemed okay. But I certainly lost consciousness after what happened.

Nonetheless, thank you to the medical facility in Las Vegas for taking care of me. Everybody that said they’re happy it happened to me, I hope we meet in person so I can punch you in the f****** face.

He grabbed up Michael Cole? Yeah. Can’t be having that. So what happens next now? I don’t know, you tell me. Just know that I’m ’bout it, ’bout it for whatever.

If you think choking me out is gonna end me, you’re right. You think you’ll bury me publicly and have me quit showing up? You’re wrong. But I know you’re not gonna mess with Michael Cole. You’re not gonna get away with it.”

Many fans feel GUNTHER more than deserves a time off after all the hard work he did as the World Heavyweight Champion over the past year. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see when he will return, as it’s likely he will be feuding with Pat McAfee once he is back.
