The Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas hosted the April 25 episode of WWE SmackDown. You never know what the company will bring after WrestleMania, and they certainly proved that this week. John Cena has already spoken about why he doesn’t have kids, and that took center stage this week.

The blue brand’s show kicked off with John Cena making his way to the ring. The 17-time World Champion wore the title backwards, and he received the reaction he wanted from fans in the process.

John Cena immediately called the new ring announcer, Mark Nash, into the ring. He then handed Nash a paper as fans chanted, “Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks.” Then Nash had to introduce Cena again.

Cena didn’t get one word out before Randy Orton’s music hit. Fans were very excited to see The Viper make his way to the ring, and he got in the ring with Cena. RKO brought up how he’s known Cena for 25 years, and how hustle, loyalty, respect wasn’t just a catchphrase for his, it was a way of life. Then Orton said that there is a void inside Cena, one that needs to be filled.

Orton brought up how Cena holds the Make-A-Wish record, and he knows that meant something to the 17-time champion. Then Orton said he figured out how to fill that void for Cena, he said he needs to have some “damn kids” and grow up. After all, Orton has several children.

John Cena immediately said, “how dare you,” to Randy Orton. He said that Orton “parent shamed” him in front of the whole world. He congratulated Orton for having kids, and then he said the reason he doesn’t have kids because “I spent the last 25 years raising yours!”

Cena went on to say that “for the last 25 years, I have been a better parent to your children than you will ever be.” He proceeded to trash talk children at ringside, and one of them even gave him the finger. In the end, Cena said he doesn’t have kids because he’s been “policing kids for a quarter of a century.”

Randy Orton then brought up how those fans are the biggest reason for Cena’s success. He also said that Cena is a guest in WWE at this point. Cena then said that the company didn’t win anything together, because he racked up those wins by himself.

John Cena then said that Randy Orton is just like all the fans, all hypocrites. Randy Orton fired back at Cena about how he won’t ruin pro wrestling, and Cena told him to shut his mouth. He then said that Orton will be stuck at 14 World Title reigns whenever Cena takes the title home when he leaves. He will effectively erase three generations of Orton’s family upon doing so.

Randy Orton demanded a fight against John Cena, but he was denied. Instead, Cena said that the match should happen at Backlash in Saint Louis. He also said that when Orton fails at Backlash, in his home city, he will have no excuses.

We will have to see what happens next, but it appears that Randy Orton and John Cena are going to get one more match out of their historic feud.
