Nia Jax is known for being open and honest about her life, regularly updating her fans on what’s going on. That’s why it comes as no surprise that she has now shared the struggles she faced while using dating apps.

While speaking on the Nikki and Brie Show, Nia Jax shared her thoughts about dating apps and what she looks for in a partner. She said there was a time when a lot of women, including Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, were using Raya, so she thought about trying it too. But when she applied, she got waitlisted, especially back when it was very exclusive and she took that as a sign not to pursue it.

Nia Jax explained that she prefers genuine connections and has tried dating apps a few times, but it didn’t go well. One person didn’t believe it was really her, and the whole experience felt awkward. Even when she asked a friend to help, her friend also felt uncomfortable.

“Raya? You know what, there was a time when all the girls were getting into it—like Becky and Charlotte, they were all on Raya—and I was like, ‘Okay, maybe I’ll try it.’ Then I got waitlisted back when they were super exclusive, and I was like, ‘Okay, well, that’s a sign.’

Genuine connections are something I prefer. I tried a dating app a couple of times, and one person didn’t even believe it was me. It was just awkward—totally awkward. I even had a friend try to do it for me just to make it less weird, and she was like, ‘This is awkward,’ and felt uncomfortable doing it.”

Nia Jax said she’s looking for a real man, someone who knows how to work with their hands and build things. She finds it hard to connect with men who are more focused on getting cosmetic treatments like bro-tox or veneers. That kind of thing doesn’t impress her and definitely doesn’t attract her.

“Let’s just be honest. Guys nowadays, for me, I like a man—a real man who knows how to build things and use their hands. It’s hard when a guy is like, ‘I’m going to get some bro-tox and new veneers.’ I’m like, ‘No, that does nothing for me.’ You’re not turning me on. The shop shuts down. It turns into a desert, guys.”

Nia Jax’s honesty about her dating experiences shows that even WWE Superstars go through the same relationship challenges as everyone else. Her open approach shows her authentic personality, both in the ring and in her personal life, and we’ll have to see if she ever finds love in the future as fans definitely want that to happen for her.
