Braun Strowman is usually relied upon by WWE to deliver solid performances as a powerhouse, but he wasn’t featured at WrestleMania 41 this week. With that in mind, Paul Heyman has revealed that he brutally dragged Strowman during the Roast of WrestleMania, where he said Strowman wasn’t good enough to be at WrestleMania.

While speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, Paul Heyman reflected on his experience at the Roast of WrestleMania, mentioning how The Miz was laughing throughout the event and wasn’t mad at Heyman, saying, “You think The Miz would get pissed at me? He was laughing his ass off.”

Heyman then revealed that Braun Strowman was upset over the fact that he wasn’t part of the WrestleMania 41 card. Heyman told Strowman that he wasn’t on the card because he sucks, but points out how Strowman took it all in stride.

“You think Braun Strowman, who was literally crying that he’s not at WrestleMania, and I tell him straight to his face, he’s not on WrestleMania because he sucks. Did he get mad at me? No, he’s rolling with the punches.”

Heyman also pointed out how Tony Hinchcliffe didn’t get mad despite being upstaged on his own show, proving that the event should be the “Paul Heyman Roast of WrestleMania” instead.

“You think Tony Hinchcliffe would get mad at me because I totally upstaged him on his own show and proved that it should be the Paul Heyman Roast of WrestleMania and not the Tony Hinchcliffe Roast of WrestleMania? No.”

The only person who actually got upset was professional roaster Gabriel Iglesias, who makes a living telling jokes and performing on panels. Heyman stated that Iglesias wanted to fight him on stage, and he was the one person Heyman was confident he could beat up. He then joked about how, when Fluffy walks into a room, it’s impossible not to notice his size.

“But who gets mad at me? A professional roaster. A guy who makes his living telling jokes on panels, a guy who makes his living doing roasts is the one guy who got mad at me and wanted to fight me on the stage. He is the one guy whose ass I guarantee you I could kick. When Fluffy walks in a room, how do you do anything but size his fat ass?”

Braun Strowman previously addressed not being part of WrestleMania 41, where he was acting very professional. Fans were wondering why the powerhouse wasn’t part of the WrestleMania 41 card, but Strowman stayed calm and professional about it. He showed that he understands how the business works in WWE and didn’t take it personally, especially after what Heyman told him.
