WWE’s NXT brand held Stand & Deliver at the T-Mobile Arena on April 19. The Saturday afternoon event was scheduled before WrestleMania 41 and included several matches on the card.
One of the matches featured the NXT Women’s Championship in a Fatal Four-Way. Stephanie Vaquer defended her title against Giulia, Jordynne Grace, and Jaida Parker.
This big match went on second to last, right after Stacks turned on Tony D’Angelo. Everyone received their full entrances, with Giulia coming in first. Mike Rome also gave this contest a big fight feel with his introductions.
The match started with Vaquer and Giulia staring each other down, but they were quickly separated. Then Grace and Giulia continued on in the ring, but that didn’t last long. There was a lot of action as each woman wanted to make sure they got their fair share of the Stand & Deliver spotlight.
Jaida Parker had the fans behind her in a big way, and she was able to stack all three of her opponents in the corner for a hip drop on everyone, but she wasn’t able to secure a win for that. Vaquer was able to turn things around, nail a Devil’s Kiss on Parker, and then another on Jordynne Grace. This caused fans to chant for Booker T, because of the way he pops over that move.
Giulia and Vaquer started fighting, but they were broken up. Eventually, Vaquer nailed her finisher on Parker and got the pinfall to retain her title in Las Vegas.
