Jey Uso might be on the verge of capturing his first world title at WrestleMania 41—but behind the scenes, he’s already thinking about what’s next after the ring.
The ‘Yeet’ master is currently favored to dethrone Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship this weekend, capping off a 15-year journey since his WWE debut back in 2010. But in a revealing interview with The Ringer Wrestling Show, Jey admitted he feels like time is catching up with him.
“I’m on the end of my career, I feel like it,” Uso confessed. “I still got a couple years left, I feel strong, but this is the first time I kinda felt the years kinda catching up with me.”
When asked if he sees retirement in the near future, Jey didn’t say he’s done just yet—but he’s looking beyond the squared circle.
“Not even that, I just think I’m getting older, man. I’ll be 40 in August,” he said. “I love wrestling, wrestling is everything, I’m just starting to get to the point where I just wanna venture out a little bit more.”
WrestleMania 41 could be a career-defining moment for Uso—and possibly the beginning of his last big run before he steps into a new phase of life.
