Mercedes Moné Confirms AEW Pays for Her Team to Travel

Mercedes Moné isn’t rolling solo—and she’s not footing the whole bill either. During her in-studio appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub with Toucher & Hardy, the AEW star revealed that she travels with a full entourage, and yes, AEW is picking up the tab.

Moné said her team includes an assistant, a social media manager, and her personal advocate. They go with her everywhere—even overseas. “These are my employees, yes… and they travel with me everywhere. Overseas, they will be in the UK with me.”

While most fans assume wrestlers have to pay out of pocket for their support crew, Mercedes made it clear she’s got backup from the top. “AEW helps us with that. Thank you so much, Tony Khan. We appreciate you.”

That shoutout to AEW’s president shows just how much faith the company has in Moné—and how serious they are about building her brand globally.
